In the Fall of 2009, at the annual meeting of DOD Quebec, a small group interested in the role of creativity in the practice of OD came together. The conversation stemming from the initial meeting of this group led Pascale Rousseau, Amanda French and Izabel Coutu to set another meeting to explore the topic of creativity in OD more in-depth. At their next meeting, they realized that beyond their shared passion for the topic at hand, they all had backgrounds in coaching, were all self-employed, each had practices they wanted to bring to life and grow, and they all abhorred traditional business plans! As a result, they decided to pool their resources in order to explore a more creative approach, in the spirit of coaching, that would support the development of their respective practices. Michelle Holliday and Tara Bissett were invited to join, followed by Lynne Lamarche. The approach that resulted for the group materialized along the way, in keeping with the emerging needs, availability and interest of the group members.
15 months later, the members of this group invite you to hear their stories and the benefits they have experienced as a result of this endeavour. At the same time, the participants will be able to experiment, exchange and explore the place creativity may have in their practices.
